I have won many cases at the trial level in various courts. It is very difficult to win on appeal or get a case published. I have written 20 appeals. To win five appeals out of 20 is very good. It is the grace of God. The following are appellate cases I have won to date.
Johnston v. Johnston, 825 N.E. 2d 958 (2005), Fourteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution, personal jurisdiction.
Smith v. City of Wyoming, et. al., 821 F.3d 697 (6th Cir. 2016), Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution, search and seizure.
On December 7, 2018, State v. Hudson, 2018-Ohio-4880, Ohio Second Appellate District Court, found that “the municipal court is affirmed as to Hudson’s conviction on failure to stop and vacated as to his conviction for failure to comply.”
Wetherell Trucking, Inc. v. State of Indiana, 81A01-9907-CR-227 (Sept. 21, 2020), I won an appeal to expunge a record.
State v. Peterson, 2021-Ohio-3947,OHIO SECOND APPELLATE DISTRICT Court found the trial court should have merged menancing and domestic violence Charges.
