This morning I passed out the Democratic slate at my Wyoming polling place on Oak from 6:30-8:30 am. I put a Wende Cross for Judge sign in the ground. In all the years I have been distributing literature at the poll on Oak at 6:30 am I have never seen the line wrap around the building. It was magnificent. Yolanda Lauderdale was there handing out literature for Wende Cross.

On October 28, 2020, the some members of the Wyoming Dem Club participated in a “honk and wave” on Springfield Pike. I was there with my vote mask and Wende Cross for Judge sign. I captured a picture of Deborah Alsop, Becky Miars and other participants. Lots of waves and honks. We had a blast. Wyoming Dem Club is very active thanks to the leadership and its members.


On June 6, 2020 I attended Black Men in Suits rally. I registered voters on behalf of the Black Lawyers Association of Cincinnati. It was a peaceful event and a joy to see that many men in suits.

On September 28, 2019 I took some of my former inner city Bible study students to Fish and Loaves at New Prospect Church. It is a family oriented, children centered event co-sponsored by an organization I belong to.
On September 22, 2019 my oldest daughter participated in the Boston marathon to raise money by walking 26.2 miles. I am so proud of her.

May 12, 2019 my son prepared Mother’s Day feast at his house for my mother, sisters, cousin and myself. He gave us all gifts. It was very nice.
My daughter walks in several marathons for different causes. On May 5, 2019 she walked in a 20 mile marathon to raise awareness and money for hunger.

April 19, 2019, the Seder meal/ceremony at Zion Global Ministries. We have the ceremony every year on good Friday; the day we get off of a 21 day fast. After the Seder plate/ceremony, we have a fabulous meal with lamb, turkey, chicken and all the sides. A bazillion people were at the ceremony.

April 2019 vacationing in the Dominican Republic at an all inclusive resort. It is a birthday present from my son Thank you Jesus. I did not know how bad I needed it, but they did.

The above pictures are my oldest daughter, son and great grandchild at my son’s new house on March 8, 2019. We had a blast. My son just brought, and moved into, his first really nice home. He has put me to work while at the same time complaining about every dime I spend.
On March 9, 2019 I went to a Spellman College senior’s designer collection debut in Atlanta, Georgia. My daughter is the model in the all black. The very young designer is very talented.
On March 10, 2019 I went to Word of Faith Church in Atlanta, Georgia, Bishop Dale C. Bronner presiding. It is my childhood friend’s church. The sanctuary is fabulous and the full band was great. The experience was better than going to a secular concert.
On March 2, 2019, in Atlanta, my daughter was a model for designer Dwight Eubanks, who has been seen on House wives of Atlanta, at the 100 Black Women National Expo. Dwight also styled her hair at his beauty salon.
On February 27, 2019, 88.3 FM radio, former councilman Sam Malone, retired police officer Taylor and I talk about how each of us has and, I currently am, supporting police officers by helping weed out the ones that are giving the good officers a bad name.
On February 21, 2019 I attended a Regina Bell reception and concert hosted by AARP. Ms. Bell talked about being cared for and being a caregiver for her brother. I was a caregiver for my father whom died in my house. I was the primary caregiver for my mother until recently. Although not currently the primary caregiver for my mother, I still provide some functions for my mother. I can relate to the topic of being a caregiver.
On November 29, 2018, I had a 86th birthday party for my mom. This is our family and friends.
On November 27, 2018, trustees of the Lawyers’ Club, including myself and resource officer Richard passed out coats to eleven (11) classrooms at Hayes-Porter School purchased by the entire Lawyers’ Club.
November 17, 2018 at 10 a.m.volunteering at Southern Baptist Church handing out turkey dinners. Then I went to Alms Church, Dr. Barrows presiding, and picked up food for three AWANA families as is my custom once a month.
